RICOH Firmware Update Tool allows users to install firmware updates themselves. It automatically detects the target devices installed on the network that require updates.

1. Download and the latest firmware version
2. Open a web browser
3. Enter `http://printer's IP address` in the address bar
4. Click Login
5. Enter the login User Name and password, and then click Login
6. Click to Device Management and tehn click Configuration
7. Click Firmware Update under Device Settings
8. Click Browse and then select a firmware file .rfu
9. Click Update

Firmware update starts. Updating the firmware takes time. The status of the updating process is displayed on the printer's display. When the firmware update is completed, the printer restarts automatically. It may take a while for the printer to restart.
